RV Sites & Tenting
Friendly staff. Quiet campground. Showers, laundry , playground for kids, volleyball court, well stocked store, fish cleaning station. Went on an all girls campout. We were there to float the river, very calm water. We had a dilemma how to get our truck back from up the river since I was the only sober one in the group. The staff offers to take you back to your rig after you have floated down the river.
We have enjoyed ourselves tremendously at Camp Kalama. The restaurant on site is small and cozy and has the best onion rings and deep fried mushrooms! There is a small playground for children and access to the Kalama River for fishing. In the Spring, the trees were flowering and it was so beautiful. When we returned for Summer, the grassy areas are deep green under the shade trees. The river is literally a stone's throw away. We will return again and again.
We stayed here for 3 months and we're happy with our stay. The people who work there were always kind and they never complained about our puppy. We would stay here again.
